El inglés neozelandés es la variedad de inglés hablada en Nueva Zelanda por unos 3,8 millones de personas, la más joven de las grandes variedades del inglés (colonización posterior a 1840). Desciende principalmente de los dialectos de los colonos del sur de Inglaterra, con una influencia australiana importante y un aporte escocés (especialmente en Otago y Southland). Se distingue del inglés australiano por unas vocales más cerradas/centralizadas (el famoso «fush and chups» por «fish and chips» debido a la centralización de /ɪ/), un desplazamiento hacia delante de /æ/ y un registro vibrante de préstamos del maorí (kia ora, whānau, kai, mana, taonga, aroha) que han entrado en el habla cotidiana. Una política bilingüe activa desde la Ley de la Lengua Maorí de 1987 (Māori Language Act) ha elevado el te reo māori a la condición de lengua cooficial junto al inglés.
