A 粵台片 Hakka variety of the Xin-Hui subgroup (新惠小片) spoken in Huiyang, Huizhou, eastern Guangdong. Non-retroflex like Meixian Hakka (unlike Hailu), with the subgroup's own tone contours. It is the ancestral topolect of the Hakka of Shenzhen and Hong Kong's New Territories, and of the Hakka diaspora in Suriname and Guyana.
