達民 (拉迪爾儀禮語)

達民語（Damin，又拼作 Demiin）唔係獨立語言，而係拉迪爾語（歷史上仲有楊卡爾語）嘅秘密禮儀輔助語體，淨係由完成第二階段瓦拉馬（Warama）成人禮嘅男性使用，地點喺莫寧頓島。佢有約 200 個詞彙項，每個詞項以語義壓縮方式涵蓋普通拉迪爾語詞彙嘅一整類含義。音系含吸氣音（包括兩唇吸氣音 ʘ）、目前所知唯一一例嘅吸氣性側面擦音、噴音等；呢啲音喺拉迪爾語本身同澳大利亞任何其他原住民語言都搵唔到。最後一次成人禮約於 1980 年停止，而家實際上係休眠狀態。主要記錄見 Hale (1973) 同 Hale & Nash (1997)。
